Are you eating fruits the right way? Probably not.

Fruits are the gift of nature. They are among the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. However 90% of the people unknowingly eat fruits in a wrong way.Due to this not only they get incomplete nutrition from fruits but also shockingly developed digestive problems, skin allergies, hair fall etc.
No matter what your fitness goal is fruits should be a part of your daily diet. But the sad part is that even after eating the healthiest foods on the planet, peoples don't get the benefits out of them.
Because fruits are healthy, people think that it is ok to consume them whenever they want to.As a result, they end up doing more harm than good.I will share some reasons you are eating fruits the wrong way and the ways to fix it.

1. Eating fruits after meals.
We love eating sweets after meals but when we are health conscious we prefer fruits as a sweet dish but did you know that doing this you are actually messing up with your digestive system.
Let's say you eat two chapattis and then a slice of fruit, now the problem arise because fruits are digested by the body much faster, but it is prevented from doing so due to the chapati being taken before the fruit. When fruit comes in contact with food and digestive juices the entire mass of food begins to spoil because fruit starts fermenting this is the reason for bloating and repetitive peeing.
2. Cutting and storing fruits.
In today's fast life we like eating on the go, we cut the fruits, store it in the fridge or we take sliced fruits to workplaces in box, because we don't want to eat anything unhealthy outside, but did you know that eating fruits long after cutting them takes away most of their nutritional value. So fruits when cut should be consumed within 20 minutes or else they start losing their potency.
Eating fruits this way cause acidity in the body and make blood little more acidic which in turn causes skin issues, greying of hair and even hair fall.

3. Not eating local fruits.
Exotic fruits are in fashion. nowadays, indian markets are full of kiwis, berries, avacados etc.
People are switching to foreign fruits and ditching the locally produced fruits, thinking that exotic fruits have some magical nutrients in it.
There is a reason why only a certain fruits grow in a particular region or in a particular climatic conditions. Fruits which are local and eaten in a proper season and climate serve as the pure nectar for the body. The absorption of nutrients from the local fruits is much higher than that from exotic fruits.
No doubt kiwis and berries are very nutritious but for the people who live where it grows naturally. We should stick to our very own banana, orange, papaya etc. moreover exotic fruits are heavily overpriced.
Whatever fruits are in the season just eat them, it is best for you. Not only you will get maximum nutrition from the local fruits but also you will be help to local vendors and indian economy.

4. Drinking fruit juices.
Do you always prefer fruit juice over whole fruits?
Well drinking fruit juices is okay but eating whole fruits is much better.Because when you drink fruit juices you miss a very important constituent of fruits called the dietary fibre( it is very important for proper digestion and for smooth bowel movements).
Well you can drink fruit juices sometimes but mostly prefer eating whole fruits and when I say fruit juices, I mean fresh fruit juices not the bad/packed juices like Real , , Paper boat, Tropicana, Maaza , Frooti etc. which hardly have any nutritional value on the contrary they are loaded with added sugar, preservatives and artificial flavours.

5. Eating fruits at night.
Many people think that because fruits are healthy they can be consumed at any time of the day.Well that's not true, it is recommended not to eat fruits post sunset, as the body's ability to absorb the nutrients from the fruits diminishes and because fruits are high in sugar it may also lead to gain in weight. So make a habit to eat fruits before 6:00 PM.

Now , When to eat fruits?
Fruits should ideally be consumed in the morning empty stomach, if you start eating fruits on an empty stomach it will play a major role in detoxifying your system also the nutrients in the fruits get properly absorbed in body.
Fruits can also be consumed in between the meals as a morning or evening snack option, just make sure to take gap of 2 hours before and After the meals.
Truly fruits are the sweetest gift of nature, all we need to do is eat them in the right way.
