5 Reasons you are drinking water the wrong way.

You have been drinking water the wrong way all your life.Water is panacea for life but if it is drunk the wrong way it becomes the reason for most shocking health problems.
75% of body is made up of water so for proper functioning of the organs adequate water is essential, without water we can't use the nutrients that come from carbs, proteins and fats.
Because water is so essential and beneficial, it doesn't mean we can drink water whenever we want to, when consumed in a wrong way it becomes the reason for most health problems like migraine, joint pain, weak digestion, skin problems, hair fall, lethargy, heart and kidney problems.
Studies suggested that 99% of the people drink water in a wrong way due to which they are unintentionally harming their body rather than getting benefits.
In this blog I will share some reasons you are drinking water the wrong way.

1. Drinking water Before and After meals.
Drinking a glass of water after the meals might be the most satisfying thing for you, however this is the worst thing you can do to your body. When we eat a meal our body's temperature rises for better digestion, but drinking water just after meals instantly dilutes the gastric juices reducing the body ability to digest food properly, which results in bloating, gas and other digestive problems and this is also the main reason why peoples not getting desired results in their weight gain or weight loss goals.
Keep a gap of atleast 1 hour after the meals and 30 min before the meals.
One simple and small hack that I practice after meals is that instead of drinking water I rinse my mouth with it, it really helps.

2.Drinking water in fast pace.
In today's fast pace life most people mindlessly drink water, if you drink water too fast anyway your body won't accept it and flush most of it out.
On the other hand our stomach is acidic in nature and Saliva in mouth is alkaline in nature and it's job is to stabilize the acid in stomach, when we drink a large amount of water at once very less saliva gets mixed with water so the atmosphere inside stomach remains acidic due to which body is not able to absorb nutrients from the food.
Ideally one should slowly sip the water.

3. Drinking chilled water.
Drinking chilled water can not only cause a sore throat but also has serious demerits. Firstly cold water shrinks the blood vessels that seriously restricting the digestion process.
Chilled water also tends to solidify the fats from food making it difficult for your body to break down fats and leads to weight gain.
Ideally one should drink water at room temperature. If you want to drink cold water start using earthen pots, not only they are natural water cooler but also balance the pH of water removing the impurities.

4. Drinking too much water.
I generally came across many people who forcefully drink water throughout the day even when they are not thristy, just because somebody told them that more water means more benefits.Ofcourse proper hydration is important but excess of anything is bad and this holds true for water also.
Drinking water in excess makes the salts and other electrolytes in our body too diluted that cause serious health problems.
Having yellowish urine or chapped lips are some of the signals given by the body that you are dehydrated, so drink water accordingly.

5. Drinking water while standing or walking.
When we drink water in standing or walking position our kidneys are not able to filter the water properly. moreover in this position  muscles and nervous system are not relaxed and it makes difficult for your nervous system to quickly distribute the fluids in body, this disturb the balance of fluids in the body leading to joint pains or arthritis. So it is best to sit down and sip water slowly.

Whenever you feel thirsty drink water, however one time when water should never be skipped is just after waking up.We already know how saliva helps in neutralizing the stomach acid and during sleeping in night good amount of saliva is accumulated in our mouth which is most effective, so every morning before brushing your teeth drink at least 2-4 glass of lukewarm or room temperature water.
How much water a person needs in a day depends on many factors like individual body type, weight, physical activity and climate. Our body also gets water from various food like fruits and vegetables and we should try to get most of the water through fruits and vegetables because with water they also provide essential nutrients.
Generally 2.5 to 3 litres of water per day is good enough.
Water is life, it is panacea for many health problems all we need to do is drink it in right way .
